It is now over eight weeks since we started administering the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccinations.
Government advice is that patients will be called about their second dose, 11 or 12 weeks after the first vaccine. This applies to both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccination.
We aim to contact you in the twelfth week after having your first vaccination. We are fully aware of who has had which vaccine and on which date and will be in touch with you to book an appointment.
There is no need to contact us, as we will not be able to confirm any second appointments until we are in receipt of the vaccines and arranged the clinic dates.
If we vaccinated you in the middle of January, we will be contacting you at the beginning of April, most likely in the week after the Easter break.
Many thanks for your patience.
